The library is a joint facility of the Department of Computer Science (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences), the Cologne Institute for Information Systems (CIIS) and the Regional Computing Center (RRZK).

The current part of our print media can be found in open access directly in the library. Older literature is mainly located in the non-publicly accessible stacks in the basement. Members of our university may borrow media.

The principle of "digital first" applies to the acquisition of literature. The digital campus licenses are searchable via the USB portal.

We see our library as a learning space. Flexible individual workstations and modern equipped group study rooms are available.

Another focus is the consultation and our training offer around the topic "scientific work".
