The course imparts basic knowledge of scientific work. The focus is on, among other things

• Differentiation of scientific texts from other text forms
• Research - introduction to systematic searching and finding literature
• Citing, the meaning of citation and plagiarism

The course is primarily aimed at students who would like to write a scientific paper in the Department of Mathematics/Computer Science in the near future.
